Maintenance Integration and Asset Management

Starting date: Autumn 2026
Price: 4 995 SEK ex. vat

This module focus on the importance of effective integration for achieving smart maintenance.

Overview
Maintenance is a service that has gained a lot of attention in the past decades, as it has a large effect on production output as well as asset and production sustainability. Smart maintenance is a way to achieve effectiveness in maintenance performance and sustainability in production. It is based on four core dimensions: data-driven decision-making, human capital resources, internal integration, and external integration.

In this module, we will cover aspects of internal and external integration by introducing the concepts of asset management and servitization. Asset management is a way to assure internal integration by focusing on the value of assets throughout their lifetime, while servitization is the integration of products and services into an integrated offering, which impacts the management, procurement, and fulfillment of maintenance.
